Wow. The lovely La Crimson Femme has named me as a Very Inspiring Blogger. Thank you, dear lady. I’m beyond flattered!
Everyone reading this post? Please do go and visit La Crimson Femme’s wonderful site. She’s the queen of the erotic book review, and has some really fantastic educational posts devoted to BDSM. (If you want to know about fireplay and violet wands, she’s most definitely your girl!)
Very Inspiring Blogger is about paying it forwards, letting people know that you enjoy reading their blogs, and helping others discover them, too. The rules of accepting a nomination are simple:
- Display the Very Inspiring Blogger badge in a post or on your sidebar;
- Link back to the person who nominated you;
- State seven things about yourself so that people can find out a little bit more about you.
- Nominate fifteen blogs you enjoy visiting and link to them; and
- Notify those bloggers of their nomination and the Very Inspiring Blogger requirements.
So, without further ado, seven things about Jane …
1. I really do have chintz curtains in my house.
2. Jane + Glass of Wine = Mayhem.
3. I like to talk. A lot.
4. Favourite classic erotica? Anaïs Nin’s Delta of Venus.
5. I started Behind the Chintz Curtain in July of 2013. (We’re not yet one!)
6. I have been known to, er, correct copy on grocery packets with red pen. (Oh, the shame!)
7. I once had a bikini wax that was interrupted by the fire brigade.
And the fifteen bloggers I’m nominating for Very Inspiring Blogger?
2) HellKat’s Little Bit of Heaven
3) GrammarBlog*
6) Josee
10) Ruffled Sheets
11) Love in a Tent
12) Geoffrey Chaucer Hath a Blog
13) The Cara Sutra
15) Notes from the Nymphomaniac Ness
Go visit them and make the blogisphere a beautiful place!
*Please note that GrammarBlog (@GrammarBlog) exists almost exclusively on Twitter now, but I’m really hoping this nomination will encourage them to post more grammar catastrophes on their site!
Thank you very much for nominating me! What a great list to find myself on and there are even a few here that I don’t know which is extra exciting as now I have more explorations to do!

I think your blog is fabulous, Molly. It is an absolute pleasure to encourage more people to visit you! xxx
Jane,
I can not thank you enough for thinking of me. My ‘Fixing Me’ blog is a work in progress, much like me. So once again, I am very honored and I thank you to the bottom of my heart.
Take care,
* I totally agree about La Crimsom Femme!
Josee, it has been lovely getting to (virtually!) know you. And ‘in progress’ works are the best kind. x
