I really hope I don’t offend anyone with this week’s Sinful Sunday competition entry; I have taken Molly’s brief of ‘triptych’ very literally and nodded, perhaps more than a little blasphemously, towards its religious roots. (Art History was one of my university majors and I just couldn’t help myself.) As such, my triptych sequence is inspired by both the traditional panel paintings found in churches and the great – and scandalous! – Baroque painter, Caravaggio; a true master of light, dark and the dramatic.

As a recovering Catholic, I find this very sexy. I love that you ran with the religious/historical significance and still managed to make it… arousing. Wonderful.

These are really, really good – in so many ways.
Oh my goodness these are sooooooooooooo damn good. The whole scene is so incredibly hot. The lighting is amazing, creating dark shadows but allowing just enough to the person to be seen to focus the eye on the detail. Also that lack of light seems to really enhance the ‘aged’ look of the scene. Oh and I do love a bit of blasphemy
