Does Chintz extol the virtues of cute florals from Laura Ashley? Wax lyrical on the joys of sewing window dressings? Er, no. If you’re after home furnishing advice, you’re in the wrong place.

Behind the Chintz Curtain is all about what we’re reading and doing behind the drapes – chintz, striped or otherwise – and recommends both books (generally the saucier ones) and erotic items. Will you be shocked by some of the things you see or read about here? Maybe. But we hope you’ll also be intrigued and tempted to try a few (or a whole bunch of them) out. Everyone’s different, and Chintz’s goal isn’t to shock the pants off you but to introduce you to some great reads and products in a hopefully intelligent and helpful way.

And let’s face it; there are times when we just fancy a great, sexy book, a glass of wine and a significant other (breathing or battery-operated). Chintz can help with two of the items on that list.
