These arms of mine
They are burning
Burning from wanting you
These arms of mine
They are wanting
Wanting to hold you
And if you
Would let them hold you
Ohh how grateful I will be
- These Arms of Mine, Otis Redding
I’ve had the most awful sinus infection for almost two weeks now; sore ears, sore head, sore teeth … Horrid. It’s taken two lots of antibiotics to give the bugs lurking in my body the message they’re not welcome and I’m only now starting to feel a little better. Needless to say, I have been super grumpy (poor M!) and feeling anything but sexy and sinful. What I have been wanting, though, is lots and lots of hugging and affection. And despite my foul sinus-induced temper, M has continued to wrap those arms of his around me. Best medicine ever.
It is the best medicine. One in their arms, the world just floats away. Such an engaging photo even though we cannot see your faces. xxx
Just lovely! And nice words too . . . very sweet!!!

You have written about this bring a loving embrace and needing cuddles but there is something very passionate about this image. The way his fingers are wrapped into your hair and the slight dig of his finger tips into the flesh of your shoulder make this image fucking hot in my opinion

ps… Hope you are feeling better soon
I love how even when he’s hugging you better, his fist is gripping your hair. This is beautiful, loving and very hot. Thank you so much for posting.
Really hot photo – especially, as Pandora notes, the way he’s gripping your hair and the back of your head as he hugs you.
This is so beautiful, and the poem is so powerful. Just lovely.
What a beautiful poem to go with a wonderful picture.
Beautiful photo, beautiful words!

I have to echo the others in praise of that hand in your hair! Hot!
Damn, Jane, I sure hope you are feeling better by now. Very cool photo. I like the subtle color scheme; sets a warm, cozy, mood. Like linen or something. I dunno. Well done. See, I could take a pic like that and it would come across as “sick bed.” I’m SO not a photographer. Heh.
Beautiful words, and image – love the way you’re wrapped up together (and the small of your back draws me too, for some reason!).
Also, I really hope you’re feeling better soon.
