Sinful Sunday: Lay (Wander Series) « Behind the Chintz Curtain

This Wander image (another shot taken on my afternoon walk with the lovely E) has tortured me a bit. My photo editing skills are somewhat limited but I decided to try and knock all the colour out of it, bar that in the red top I was wearing, in order to stop the hayfield from dominating me (pun intended) quite so much. Er, yeah. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quite good enough to negotiate my way around all the grass blades in the foreground so, after much growling and muttering, settled for messing about with the colour levels to make all the green stuff a little more silvery. I kind of like what I ended up with (I think the seed heads feel a little bit ghostly) …

… but I do like the colours in the original:

If you use Photoshop Elements you can use the magic tool on non-contigious mode and that should hoover up most of the red for you!

But there is a slightly haunting feel to the first picture!

I certainly love the original, although the other indeed has interesting colors too. Photoshopping is something I am just getting into too….

I vote for the colour one… the vivid strong green and the red of your top make for a nice contrast and now I want to go out and take photographs but I think 2 kids might cramp my style a bit

My favourite is the original the rich colours just work so well, however, the other one definitely has an ethereal feel to it.

I like them both as well, but lean a bit toward the touched-up one — I just like the mood there, a bit darker. Is that lavendar? Also love the pose! Very sensual. Well done.
